Gurgaon Rolls Out Green Prep for July Urban Meet
Gurgaon’s Municipal Corporation (MCG) has initiated a thorough citywide cleaning effort ahead of the National Conference of Urban Local Bodies scheduled for July 3–4, 2025, at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka.
Over 500 delegates are expected, prompting sanitation drives along major highways and focal city zones. The MCG, coordinating with HSIIDC and traffic police, will also manage encroachment removal, traffic rerouting, and public liaison support. Cultural programs are being organized to showcase local heritage during the conference.
Officials say restroom, lighting, medical, and cleanliness infrastructure are being upgraded to ensure high standards. The drive aligns with national objectives promoting citizen-centered urban development ahead of this high-profile policy forum.
